Job Description:
A company is looking for a Virtual School Social Worker (SSW) to
provide essential support to K-12 students across Michigan in a
remote capacity.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide virtual individual and group counseling sessions for
students with social, emotional, and behavioral concerns
Respond to student crises with virtual intervention and support
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop
intervention plans for student success
Qualifications:
Valid Michigan School Social Worker certification (required)
Previous experience working in schools or providing social work
services to K-12 students is preferred
Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and virtual communication
tools
