Technologist at Intermountain Health, you will play a vital role in
supporting our clinical team, ensuring our patients receive the
best care by:Produce x-ray images of specified body areas as
directed by the physician or radiologist ensuring clear and
undistorted films. Position and instruct patients regarding x-ray
procedures.Perform x-ray procedures using portable machine as
requested by Emergency Department and nursing units.Process films
for radiologists reading/interpretation following established
procedures.Communicate with patients, families, healthcare team
members, and physicians both in-person and via telephone.Maintain
X-ray and other equipment in efficient operating order; ensure
preventative maintenance is performed on a regularly scheduled
basis; contact outside service for major malfunctions according to
established guidelines.Minimum QualificationsHigh School diploma or
equivalent, requiredSuccessful completion of an approved
radiological training program and the ability to meet the
requirements for registry by the American Registry of Radiologic
Technologists (ARRT), requiredCurrent license/certification in the
state of practice, requiredCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS)
certification issued by American Heart Association,
requiredPreferred QualificationsAt least one (1) year of diagnostic
radiology experience, preferredPhysical Requirements:Carrying,
Climbing, Crawling, Hearing/Listening, Lifting, Manual Dexterity,
Pulling/Pushing, Seeing, Speaking, Squatting/Kneeling, Standing,

Hours:24The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual
