Information $2,150 per week About The Position Job Title:
Registered Nurse Job Specialty: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Job
Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Variable shifts (days, nights, or
combination) 3x12 Hour Guaranteed Hours: 36.00 per week Experience:
Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred License:
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice is
required Certifications: Current American Heart Association Basic
Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS-HCP) certification upon
hire or obtained within 60 days of hire with prior approval. ACLS
and TNCC are required for this role Must-Have: Graduation from an
accredited School of Nursing Job Description: - Performs
independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in
accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state
Board of Nursing. - Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates
nursing care. - Evaluates health status through the ongoing
collection and assessment of health data. - Performs health
teaching and health counseling. - Provides therapy and treatment
that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being either
directly to the patient or indirectly through consultation with,
delegation to, supervision of, or teaching others. - Executes
delegated medical functions. - Refers patients as needed for
further evaluation or treatment. - Reviews and monitors therapy and
treatment plans. - Documents in accordance with hospital and
regulatory guidelines. - Uses resources as needed. - Promotes the
mission, vision, and values of the organization and abides by
service behavior standards. - Performs other duties as assigned. -
May be required to float to other departments (within the scope of
competency and qualifications) based on business need. - May be
required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
Education Preference: A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred.
A Registered Nurse with an ASN/ADN degree must complete a BSN
degree within four years from the date of hire unless there is a
minimum of fifteen years of proven continuous experience in an
acute care setting. Failure to obtain a BSN degree within that time
frame may result in suspension or termination of employment. Any
Registered Nurse who takes legally protected leave during the
four-year completion period may have the period extended by a
comparable amount of time. Language Requirements: Must be able to
read, write, and speak English proficiently. This role offers an
