We are seeking a motivated and friendly Dental Assistant to join our team at Brewer Dental Center. As a Dental Assistant, you will work alongside our dentists and hygienists to provide exceptional dental care to our patients. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, has excellent communication skills, and genuinely cares about the well-being of our patients.In this role, you will assist with various dental procedures, prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, take X-rays, and provide chairside support to the dentists. You will also educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.If you have a positive attitude, a passion for dentistry, and a desire to make a difference in the lives of our patients, we want to hear from you! Responsibilities: Assist the dentist during dental procedures Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment Take and develop dental x-rays Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care Perform basic laboratory tasks such as pouring models and trimming impressions Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new supplies as needed Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations Requirements At least 6 months of dental experience, hygiene-focused preferred X-ray certification Knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail and ability to multitaskWe offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for professional development.
