Description:Classification: The Business Development Director is
an exempt position under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA).
Reports To: Vice President of Operations Job Overview: The Business
Development Director position is a high-profile position that
involves exciting opportunities to drive growth and change for the
company. The Business Development Director position will be
responsible for identifying new business opportunities, cultivating
strategic partnerships, and driving revenue through effective sales
strategies.
Responsibilities and Duties: Please Note: This is not an

- Identify and develop new business opportunities while
continuously seeking out potential clients and markets for
expansion to drive business growth.
- Build relationships with customers, suppliers, distributors,
partners, and vendors.
- Evaluate existing partnerships and sales efforts with an eye
toward building on what works and changing what doesn't.
- Manage key client relationships and work to build new
ones.
- Expand the profile and reach of the company and its
brands.
- Leads sales, marketing, customer-service, and client
relationship management teams.
- Develop and strengthen internal and external relationships that
will lead to increased lead generation and market share.
- Build cross-functional teams to guide and nourish sustainable,
long-term growth.
- Evaluate and analyze market trends by staying informed about
industry trends, market demands, and competitor strategies to
anticipate opportunities and challenges.
- Foster and works to maintain an entrepreneurial growth culture
throughout the company and across all teams and work
functions.
- Identifies and recommends new services.
- Propose and develop strategic partnerships.
- Help to shape the company's long-term objectives and determine
plans for how to meet them.
- Research and identify new markets.
- Provide advice on product development and distribution and
promotion strategies.
- Identify sponsorship opportunities, including nonprofit
engagement.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors.
- Conduct webinars and presentations to raise the brand or
product profile.
- Select prospective vendors and negotiate contracts.
- Travel to vendor locations, distributions centers, and other
locations.
- Fulfill requests for proposals (RFPs) from potential partners
and customers.
- Help direct development of customer-facing web platforms and

competitive salary range for this position between $60-$80K PLUS
BONUSES. Substantial bonuses will be paid based on exceeding sales

potential for significant additional income beyond base salary.

Licensing Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or
related field. MBA a plus.
- 5-10 years' sales or marketing experience.
- 3-5 years' supervisory or management experience. Physical
