Job Description:
A company is looking for a News Update Editor to write timely
content for The Spruce Home.
Key Responsibilities:
Research and perform revisions, updates, and rewrites to content as
needed according to specific project instructions and brand
guidelines
Pitch and write timely news content for publication on The Spruce
Home
Commit to at least 10-15 hours of work per week
Required Qualifications:
At least 2 years of experience writing or editing home or lifestyle
media, preferably for a news publication or magazine
Journalism experience strongly preferred
Comfortable with content management systems, including
WordPress
Access to a smartphone, computer (not a tablet), and a secure
internet connection
Must live in the United States
