TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Billings, Montana, 59101 Pay Information $2,182 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Med/Surg Oncology Job Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Shift, 2x12 Hr Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred License: Current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice Certifications: BLS - American Heart Association (Additional certifications such as ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required as appropriate for unit or service) Must-Have: Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required, Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred) Job Description: - Perform independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care. - Evaluate health status through the ongoing collection and assessment of health data. - Perform health teaching and health counseling. - Provide therapy and treatment that is supportive and restorative to life and well-being, either directly to patients or indirectly through consultation, delegation, supervision, or teaching others. - Execute delegated medical functions. - Refer patients as needed for further evaluation or treatment. - Review and monitor therapy and treatment plans. - Document in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines. - Utilize resources as needed and promote the mission, vision, and values of the organization while abiding by service behavior standards. - Perform other duties as assigned and may be required to float to other departments based on business need. - May be required to be placed on-call during a regularly scheduled shift.
